Alison
Receptionist
Alison grew up in Pittsburgh and is a die-hard Penguins and Steelers fan. She moved to Nashville in 2012 to work at the Nashville Zoo. She was a zookeeper there for 9 years and cared for and trained exotic cats, parrots, birds of prey, reptiles, and small mammals. Alison also presented animal shows and educated guests about endangered and lesser-known species. At home, Alison has her own zoo: a cat, chinchilla, and blue-tongued skink. But more importantly, she and her husband have an adorable tiny human named Wyatt who was born in 2020. One of his first words was “kitty”, so here’s hoping he becomes an animal lover like his mom!

Carla
Resident Groundhog
Hi, my name is Carla. My family and I have been living on the Priest Lake Veterinary Hospital grounds for years now. The humans care about us and leave us snacks, like fruit, veggies and pellets. We run around through our tunnel system that runs behind the clinic and underground. We think it was a smart move choosing this area to take shop, as the humans care about us animals!
