Pam: Administrative Assistant
Pam is originally from Ohio, and has worked in the veterinary field for almost 40 years total. Most of those years were in Ohio, where she worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician, but she also worked in vet clinics in Ft. Lauderdale for 4 years prior to moving here in 2004. She has two sons and six grandchildren that enjoy animals as much as she does. She currently has 3 cats, Puck, Scoop and Blink.
Cathy: Veterinary/Administrative Assistant
Cathy is a native Nashvillian and graduated from Belmont University. After retiring from AT&T, she pursued her dream of helping animals. She has been working at Priest Lake Veterinary Hospital since 2011. She and her husband live in the country with their many dogs and cats.
Laura: Veterinary Assistant
Laura has worked for PLVH since 1990. She lives in a small town with a menagerie of animals. She has goats, chickens, pigeons, turkeys,a parrot, fish, 4 cats and 4 dogs. Obviously she loves animals and to garden and work on her mini farm.
James: Veterinary Assistant
James has worked at Priest Lake since June of 1996. He and wife Susan live in Manchester with their spoiled Beagle hound, "Bessie Mae". James has a B.A. in history from M.T.S.U. and has done Civil War reenacting, living histories, guided tours, and school programs, and has written short histories of two of his Confederate ancestors. Currently, he is working on an historical novel related to the JFK assassination.
Madi : Veterinary Technician
Madi is a native of Nashville and a resident of Murfreesboro Tennessee. She has been serving in the Air National Guard since 2011. She received her Bachelor’s of Animal Science in 2014 from MTSU. From there she received her Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology at Colombia State Community College in 2017. She has a Shih-Tzu named Baby and a Toy Poodle named Maggie.
Tacy: Veterinary Assistant
Tacy was raised in Maui, Hawaii. She began working at a horse ranch in high school and knew then that her future career would involve animals. She attended Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, began her career as a Veterinary Assistant. Tacy and her husband, Cory, enjoy kayaking, hiking and camping with their dog Riker.
Born and raised in KY., Amanda moved to Nashville in March 2017 from Michigan. She worked in healthcare for 18 years. Because of her love of animals, she decided to change careers 3 years ago to working in the veterinary field.
Stacy Elder-Lanker: Veterinary Assistant
Stacy is a native of Nashville, TN. She is a graduate of Aquinas College in Nashville and has worked part-time for PLVH since 2005. Although she loves all pets, her most favorite are senior pets. In her free time Stacy trains her German Shepherds and Bloodhounds to search for missing persons and has been assisting Law Enforcement and Emergency Management since 1999.
